More Duality

A metaphor for much of our experience in life, the Necker Cube has been around since 1832. We can see the illusion of its facing one way, or we can see the illusion of its facing the other way, but it's very difficult to see what's really there, twelve lines on a flat surface.

Look at the facts one way and you're an optimist; look at them another way and you sense doom waiting around the corner. At least one moral of the necker cube is that you might be asking the wrong question.

Another question: Is anything ever what it seems?
