I, Bloghead

What better way to celebrate a new month than quote a master, in this case Samuel Johnson, who had a whole half-century of English literary history named after him: “No man but a blockhead ever wrote except for money,” Doctor Johnson said. Also attributed to him is this gem: “Your manuscript is both good and original; but the part that is good is not original, and the part that is original is not good.”
