The Friend of a Friend’s Friend


Here’s an update in the New York Times about Dr. Nicholas Christakis and his work at Harvard on social networks.


My original post about this in February contains a link to a video of Dr. Christakis in which he explains how his interest in social networks began while he was a hospice physician in Chicago and began to study simple networks of just two people, the one who was dying and the other person, usually a spouse or family member, who was taking care of the one who was dying.
